Oyster Island and Espiritu Santo Island, Vanuatu

About 200 people work off and on at this kiln, each with specific roles eg chop the wood for the kilns, crack open the coconuts and get out the inside, stoke the kilns, turn over the bits of coconut on the racks upstairs above kilns, transport to Luganville once dried sufficiently.
